About The Bearded One

He, too, grew up in Idaho, but up north in a place called Lewiston. He went to several colleges and Universities but never bothered to get a degree. Now he occasionally teaches at local colleges around the area. In his spare time he writes screenplays and in the past several books of poetry.

He, like me, enjoys just about everything, especially movies, music, the comics (which he reads every morning, first thing), kids (ours and other peoples -- especially our grandchildren) and animals, and walking on the beach. He’s a good cook and enjoys fine wine and single malt Scotch whiskey (only a wee dram, occasionally). He is an optimist for the most part and generally easy to get along with. However, he doesn’t suffer rude, crude, mean spirited, or foolish pretentious people gladly. But I have managed to get him to just ignore them, for the most part.

He says his job is to make me laugh, which he does most of the time.
