CONFESSION TIME

Here it is still January and I have already broken my main New Year’s resolution, to write blogs on a more regular basis. However, I do not think it is at all my fault. It seems that my Muse has gone on vacation to the Bahamas.

Now, isn’t that just a kick in the pants, here I’ve been enduring all kinds of the ugly weather, snow deep enough to keep the kids home from school for two whole days, torrential rain enough to fill your basement in thirty-seven seconds, and devil winds strong enough to put your favorite tree down on top of your brand new car. All this happening over a four day period and then it starts all over again.

However, the Bahamas, now that is a completely different story… just gentle breezes, acres of warm water, and loads of white sands to enjoy. There is no hustle, no bustle, no panic and no disasters to contend with.  And there sits my little Muse, with this smug and contented look. It’s enough to just make a blog writer want to cry.

My Muse decided to come home after I told her that there were eight other Muses who would like to interview for her job. If any of you other writers who are having writers block, maybe your Muse is also in the Bahamas having a good time. I suggest letting her know that there are eight other Muses available to help you with your writing. Right on…write on!!!
