All you oyster Aficionados, be aware, you don’t want to miss this one.  Speed & half-shell oyster shucking and oyster/seafood cook-off carry the show at this event. Musical events are ongoing throughout both days. There are wine tastings and microbreweries for those who need to take a break. This is where you will find me, enjoying a glass of wine or two. I’m allergic to shellfish, and me swelling up like a bad toad is not a pretty sight. But The Bearded One loves oysters, clams, snails, anything with a shell. But out of sympathy for my allergy, he doesn’t get to eat them very often. I’ll have to keep an eye on him, make sure he doesn’t over do it. BON APPETIT.
