Attention people of Western Washington: Did you know that we live within a short driving distance of a world famous travel destination point—our Seattle Pike Place Market? People from around the world make the ‘Market’ a must see whenever they are in the area and so you all should take a morning, afternoon and/or evening to check it out. No matter if you toured the ‘Market’ several years ago or not, the ‘Market’ has expanded, changed and yet, in many cases, stayed the same. It will be a thrill to experience the energy of the ‘Market’ each and every time you visit.

The ‘Market’ has a social life of its own; where something is always happening. Experience the energy of the Fish Mongers as they toss 20-30 pound salmon to each other; enjoy the street corner musicians (Buskers) as they treat you to their individual brand of music; checkout a cooking demo; and let the riot of color from the vegetable and flower displays enrich your senses; or marvel at the art work and wares displayed in the ‘crafter’ stalls.

The week between Christmas and New Years is a perfect time to take the family and wander among the stalls and explore the lower levels of this wonderful Seattle attraction and perhaps try lunch from one of the take-out specialty food vendors.
