The Bald Eagles are coming, and I’m not talking about any sports team. I mean our majestic national symbol, that big, beautiful bird that, if seen up close or in flight, can make your heart skip a beat. Now, imagine these birds by the hundreds! This is an event that is both educational and fun, in other words, something for everyone.
The cities of Concrete, Rockport and Marblemount have gone all out to make this years festival full of a variety of activities. There are Bald Eagle Watch Stations, an Interpretive Center, float tours and river excursions for your viewing of the great bird. Be sure to make time to enjoy the Fishery Hatchery tours, Native American Drumming , dancing & crafts, and where ever you go and what ever you do keep your camera close at hand, this may be your chance to get that prize winning picture. Plan ahead so all the events you want to do work into your schedule. Have a great time and get those winning pictures.
