ALL IN THE CITY

Guest Blogger Betty Kim Ryan is a friend of The Bearded One and mine, who lives in West Seattle with her airline pilot husband and young son. She often shares with us events that tickle her fancy. The following is one of those events that, with her permission, I decided to share with all of you. So, read on and enjoy.

"Waking with a start at 2:40 am, I realized a 13 year old boy was outside yelling for his father to wake up and let him in. I got up to grab a coat and a cell phone for the poor child. My husband decided he should be the one to help, donned his coat, grabbed his flashlight, and braved the cold. He stomps back in a few minutes later and says, “It’s a drunk woman screaming for Chad, not a 13 year old boy screaming for Dad”.  Aaaah…city life!"
