PLAN TO ATTEND: Our countries next generation of engineers are expanding their skills as they build and present their entries in the VEX Robotic Programs. Redmond’s Exothermic 10 D Imensional team won a “Build Award” earlier this season thus qualifying them to go to the World Competition in Anaheim, California later this year. Please take a moment to check out and vote for mentor Andrew Koeppen’s, Exothermic 10 D Imensional team. As many of you know, I am the mentor for one of the top VEX High School Robotics teams in Redmond, Exothermic 10 D Imensional.

The VEX Robotics Competition is the largest and fastest growing middle and high school robotics program globally with more than 3,500 teams from 20 countries playing in over 250 tournaments worldwide. The next local competition will be held on February 25th at the Redmond High School and members of the public are welcome to watch the matches which will be held from 10am to 4pm.

The link below shows you what a VEX robotics match looks like:

Not only does VEX robotics Teams compete head to head in these tournaments they also compete against each other in online challenges. 10 D Imensional is currently competing in two of these online challenges and have submitted three videos for them. The two challenges they have chosen to compete in is the VEX Promotion Challenge and the VEX Education challenge.

In the Promote Challenge, teams compete to produce a video that promotes VEX robotics.
