Fuji... Shoreline's Newst Restaurant
FATHER’S DAY OR ANY DAY...

The Grand Opening of the Fuji Hibachi, Sushi & Steak House is happening now in Shoreline, WA. This grand opening is perfectly timed for family and friends wanting to celebrate Father’s Day, Graduation Day, Birthday Days, Class Reunions, Wedding related activities, or any other day.
From Wikipedia I learned that written records suggest the use of charcoal hibachis for heating by the aristocratic and samurai classes were in use in Japan by the Heian Period (798-1185 AD). However, today the “hibachi style” cooking is the North American term for Japanese teppanyaki cooking. Whichever term you use, you will find that this style of cooking has developed into a fine culinary art that combines theatrics and dining, perfect for a family outing.
The theatrical flair of our Chef amazed all in our group from the youngest to the oldest, and even our very own jaded teenager sat up and took note, at least for the moment. Our Chef was a true showman whose skill with knife, spatula, and fire had all of us involved in no time at all.
Shoreline, WA’s new Fuji Hibachi, Sushi & Steak House is true to its name with a menu that is truly eye popping. The Fuji menu contains all the delectable and savory food items I have come to associate with Japanese cuisine, plus some new ones for me to try—sushi and sashimi, hand rolled, special rolls, and entrees: soba and udon noodles, tempura, katsu, and my current favorite the hibachi entrée (I just love to watch those wonderful Chefs do their thing).
You can have all this and it is easy on the pocketbook, too. What’s not to like?
