HOLIDAY MUSIC--MUSIC--MUSIC

There is holiday music everywhere, no matter where you live, you are surrounded by music this month. It may be religious, or ho-ho-ho and jingle-jingle--jingle type music, but all the same, it will lift your spirits and make you smile.

You will find this music being performed at your children’s school, at your local college, at your neighborhood place of worship and on your downtown street corner, but where ever you find holiday music please stop, enjoy and appreciate the efforts of the performers. These performers put in many hours of practice to prefect their "gift of the season" for your enjoyment.

This last Saturday, The Bearded One and I, attended the SNO-KING COMMUNITY CHORALE'S presentation of their HOLIDAY MAGIC: A FAMILY AFFAIR musical. The music and story told were soul-lifting as well as an enjoyable conclusion to an other wise hectic week.

The SNO-KING COMMUNITY CHORALE has been invited to join with chorales from around the world to perform in a national premiere of KARL JENKENS' "GLORIA" at CARNEGIE HALL in NEW YORK, January 17, 2011. Soooo, friends and fans of Belva's List who live in the New York area or will be visiting there, do not miss a chance this great musical event.
