STEP BOLDLY--STEP BRAVELY...

...INTO THE NEW YEAR!! As I make my New Years Resolutions List, I am making a to do list for each resolution that will move me forward to reaching my goal.

For instance, I need to be better organize my work on Belva's List. If Sunday evening, I list the things I need to get done during the coming week, I should be more efficient with my time during the coming week and better prioritize what needs to be done.

The Bearded One and I need to lose a few (or more) pounds. If I make up a weekly menu for meals and snacks and then buy those items on one shopping trip, maybe I won't be so tempted to buy junk food, comfort foods and already prepared meals. This should save money as well as keep extra calories out of the house.

The Bearded One and I need to get a regular exercise program going. We need to discuss this as I think it will help if we develop a plan were we can encourage and support each other. This is going to be the most difficult one for me to keep, as I am a big whinier when it comes to exercise.

Since The Bearded One and I work out of a home office, we tend to spend too much time working and do not get out and about enough. I resolve to plan and execute more DATE NIGHTS. As we review and add events to Belva's List, we often remark how much fun it would be to go and do this or that—but we seldom act on these thoughts (how sad is that).

The Bearded One works hours and hours on the computer, and as you other computer persons know, a computer can turn on its operator in a heart beat. This causes big swearing by The Bearded One. I'm think a penalty jar would maybe cut down on the bad words, but even better, it could pay for the Date Night mentioned above.

And last but not least, I resolve to write more blogs in 2011.
