Fremont Summer Solstice Parade (June)

In its 20th year, the annual Fremont Solstice Parade has become Seattle’s favorite art parade. It all began in 1989 and I think the crowds get bigger every year. It’s wild, it’s weird, it’s beautiful, it’s engaging – a breath of free speech where everyone is invited to join in. Be prepared to be surprised, titillated, and perhaps shocked. Let your hair down and enjoy the day as Funky Fremont celebrates the Summer Solstice.
