Canoe and Boat rentals, by the day and hour

Ghosting a canoe or a rowboat quietly through Lake Washington’s Arboretum or around the shoreline of Union Bay is good for observing the wildlife that abounds there. Carefully Explore the cattails and marshes for Bald Eagles, Great Blue Herons, Coots, Wood Ducks and Grebes. And if you’re lucky, you might meet some beavers and muskrats.

It’s a great, green way to spend an hour or two, or a whole day, escaping the rat race.
