T Birds vs Silvertips

We may not have Major League Hockey in Seattle, but we’ve got two great hockey teams to watch, The Seattle Thunderbirds and the Everett Silvertips—two teams made up of major leaguers in training. And if you haven’t been to a hockey game, I don’t mean watching it on TV, I mean sitting right there in the arena, hearing that puck ricochet of the glass, or watching the boards shake when a player is slam-checked into them. Right there when the gloves come off and players go to fist city… There is nothing like old time hockey to get the juices flowing—and that’s the way these kids play.

Old Time Hockey Take in a Seattle Thunderbirds or an Everett Silvertips hockey game. Watch these NHL hopefuls and future stars go at it on the ice. Cheer each shot on goal, or each save by the goalie; cringe at teeth rattling body checks into the boards. These kids are tough and they can play hockey, Sept thru late March.
