From April till the end of September (and on good years into October), Seattle is all about baseball and the Seattle Mariners. Rain or shine, too, since Safeco Field has a retractable roof.
Here, instead of peanuts and crackerjacks, “Take Me Out To The Ball Game” means kettle corn and garlic fries. So, if you’re in Seattle during the MBL season, take in a home game at Safeco Field. There isn’t a bad seat in the house. And bring your glove—you may catch a souvenir!

Cheney Stadium, home field of the Triple A Tacoma Rainiers, has been the home of Tacoma baseball for the last 50 years. Nearly all the homegrown Seattle Mariners players have passed through Tacoma, including Alex Rodriguez, Jay Buhner, Ken Griffey, Jr. , not to mention Raul Ibanez, Felix Hernandez, JJ Putz, and many more.
This is the league where the great players early polish their skills, awaiting their chance to show off at The Big Show. Who knows which future star you’ll see at a Rainiers’ game. Don’t miss your chance. Buy a ticket.

The Everett AquaSox, the Mariners of tomorrow, play an exciting game of baseball. Maybe you don't recognise the players names—yet. And maybe there isn't a bobble-head doll for their fans to buy—yet. But these young stars in training play some great ball and put on a great show for the fans. And who knows, someday when one of these young men wins a Golden Glove or pitches a perfect game in the Major Leagues, you can say, “I saw him play for the Aquasox up in Everett, Washington.”

Pacific Lutheran University baseball is in the midst of its finest stretch in program history, culminating with the 2007 Northwest Conference championship, the first baseball title at PLU since the 1954 season. The future appears to hold more of the same.
The baseball field is located on the main campus.
