In the ‘80s, the founders of the Renton Civic Theater leased a boarded up 1920s movie palace, rolled up their sleeves, did some major remodeling and opened for their first live theater productions in 1987. The remodeling and improvements have continued on through the years as have a continuous string of wonderfully performed stage productions - classical musicals, comedies, and dramas that are family-friendly.
