Much of Downtown Seattle falls within the free bus service area. The boundaries are as follows: Battery St. on the north, Jackson st. to the south, The Waterfront on the west, and to the east side of I-5. There is also a special free Metro Waterfront bus serving the Urban Waterfront. Try out the Tunnel, it's the fastest way to get across town and it's free. There are five conveniently located stations: Convention Place Station, Westlake Station, University Street Station, Pioneer Square Station, and International District Station. The tunnel, 1.3 miles, is part of Downtown Seattle's Ride Free Area.
